Date sent: 31-OCT-1996 19:28:46 Hi, I've encountered a rather nasty instance running DOECSLIT on some
coude-feed data. After doing all the preliminary stuff (zero, flat, extract a
template apperture etc etc.) I set DOECSLIT running. Today, (as opposed to the
first part of the week, when this worked fine), DOECSLIT crashed. I'm not
quite sure where or how - I forgot to note down the exact error message. One
symptom, though was that the first of my data files was all 0's after the crash
- i.e. it had been errased! I re-read it from tape and redid the prellim.
stuff.
Then I tired again, but again ran into trouble. This time I got stuff like "all
pixels rejected" and then it again crashed This time saying that
ERROR on line 446: MWCS: attribute not found (spec1)What's going on here????Is there some way I can reset the system more thuroughly than by "flpr":s?? (I
did try to log out and then in again, but keep getting crashes).???Cheers (help!)B-G
