Subject: APPHOT .mag file headers
I noticed something troubling today. It concerns the version of
IRAF that gets written into the .mag file headers. Here is what
it looks like:#K IRAF = NOAO/IRAFV2.10.4EXPORT version %-23s If one is using patch 1 or patch 2 this doesn't get recorded.
That is: the version of IRAF, as it appears when you start up
IRAF is not in the header. This would be very helpful since
these patches often include important bug fixes.Any hope of making this correct? Comments?Thanks, Taft
