patience.Do you think the development of a IRAF/UNIX manual for non UNIX users
would be a worthwhile project for the IRAF group? My hunch is IRAF
will gain in popularity as Linux does and there may be a need for

Hi Len - thanks for the nice words about Mike. He is worth more than his
weight in gold to the project but it is always nice to have his support
and patience acknowledged.

I will pass your thoughts on about some extended documentation dealing with
the installation of IRAF. If you are first learning UNIX and installing
IRAF it is quite a big bite. I am glad to hear you are up and running -
good luck and have fun with IRAF!
