Hi. I have somehow got myself into a state where FWHM reported by imexam
is background sensitive (i.e., subtracting off different amounts of
background yields different FWHM). When I shift to my friend's account,
imexam behaves as it should: gives the same FSHM for different background
subtractions and also give a FWHM consisten with hand calculations. So, two questions:1. Which parameter do you think I screwed up?
2. How can you display all of the imexam parameters and their values? Thanks!Al Conrad

Hi Al,
Since I assume you've compared your IMEXAMINE parameters it's
possibly a difference in one of the hidden psets used. > 1. Which parameter do you think I screwed up?
Probably the "background" parameter in the {JKL}IEXAM pset. > 2. How can you display all of the imexam parameters and their values?
You can use the LAPR command to dump the values of each task
parameter of pset. Since IMEXAMINE uses hidden psets you may instead be
asking how to see those: the "?_" command will show all hidden tasks
in a package, from the you can e.g. lpar the "jimexam" pset to see what
the background level is. It might also just be simplest to unlearn
everything and start from scratch, the IMEXAM help page has a listing of all
the parameters as well.
Let me know if you have any other questions.Cheers,
Mike Fitzpatrick
