Does the most recent release implement OpenLook, or is it still all SunView?Mike Sitko

Hi Mike, Are you asking about V2.10.2 IRAF? IRAF isn't tied to any particular
window system. There are SunView tools for vector graphics (Gterm) and
image display (Imtool). There are also X based tools Xterm and SAOimage
which perform the same functions. Either X or SunView clients can be
used with OW. Gterm and Imtool are still distributed with Sun/IRAF. Xterm
comes with OW and SAOimage is available from our anonftp archive. Both
Xterm and SAOimage have their limitations. We are planning an X11 support
package in a couple months that will include XGterm (Gterm functionality in an
X client) and XImtool. Hope this answers your question; write back if I misunderstood what you
