Hi David,
There are no plans at this time to port to a 386/486-based PC,
although we have not ruled out the possibility. This is not a new idea,
there were/are three outside port attempts to PC's, one is underway now
in India but is running into the types of problems that cause most outside
ports fail or be abandoned. We haven't decided yet which OS we may port to,
we'd need a reasonable type of Unix and stable compilers, and of course
time to do the work (our schedule is pretty full for the next year). Regards,
