I accumulated my limited knowledge of the inner workings of iraf from
my predecessor, and since things seemed to be working fine, I never
knew how bad things actually were.I would definitely like to know how to go about correcting our
installation problems. I'm not sure where our distribution tape of
V2.8 IRAF is, since I didn't install it, but I'll ask around. What
would it entail to get a V2.9 version?Let me know if it would be easier for you to explain things over the
phone, but e-mail is preferable, since I can make an easy copy of any
