Hi,
I am trying to use crfix to remove cosmic rays from 2D spectra.
For each spectrum, I have created a cosmic ray mask (.pl), using the imcombine task, providing the name of the output rejmask.
The masks created by imcombine look fine, since when I display them with ds9 I see that regions affected by cosmic rays have value of 1, and good pixels have value of 0.
However, when I try to run crfix with these masks:
crfix inp.fits out.fits crmask=mask.pl
I get the same input spectrum, with no cosmic ray correction at all.
Am I doing something wrong?
