Dear,
I am getting a segmentation violation when running objmasks. See below.
nproto\$this->_split2($m[0]) objmasks
List of images or MEF files (teste):
List of output object masks (omt):
ACE: NOAO/IRAF V2.16.1 claudia@halley.das.inpe.br Fri 14:27:20 07-Aug-2015
Image: teste - m51 B 600s
Set sky and sigma:
ERROR: segmentation violation
"magzero=objmasks1.magzero)"
line 26: nproto$ace/objmasks.cl
called as: `objmasks ()'
nproto\$this->_split2($m[0])
I tried to use the task in different images and the same error occurs.
My IRAF:
NOAO/IRAF PC-IRAF Revision 2.16.1 EXPORT Mon Oct 14 21:40:13 MST 2013
This is the EXPORT version of IRAF V2.16 supporting PC systems.
My OS:
Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.4
I tried to use the same command in a linux based computer and it runned okay...
Thanks,
Claudia

I believe this is the same problem documented in
https://iraf.net/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=1467745
The bug was apparently fixed just after the release of the v2.16.1 patch but you can get a new binary for your system from
ftp://iraf.noao.edu/iraf/v216/support/macintel/x_nproto.e
Be sure to download in binary mode, make the file executable (i.e. "chmod 775 x_nproto.e") and install in your iraf$noao/bin.macintel directory. Post back if the problems continue.
