When trying to use interactive tasks such as imexam or psfmeasure with ds9, no coordinates appear to be transferred to IRAF. When using imexam I get the flashing cursor when mousing over ds9, as I would expect, but when I type 'r' or 'a' or any other keystrokes, I get
PHP Formatted Code Warning : Pixels out of bounds printed in my xgterm (although 'q' to quit does work). Psfmeasure appears to not respond when 'm' is typed and when 'q' is entered, xgterm states PHP Formatted Code ERROR : No input data Note that my xgterm install works in general because tasks such as implot, which do not require interaction with ds9, work properly.
Is this in any way related to the igi post from several days ago? I am using 64 bit IRAF v2.16.1 on Fedora with ds9 7.2.

DS9 v7.2. has a known bug in terms of cursor coords in IRAF, you'll need to get a different version.
