HelloI want to create simple "test images" ( ie.completely artificial images where I define the value of every pixel) to see if the functions I am attempting to apply to an image are working correctly. So these test images would likely have a very simple intensity pattern in the pixels which would very quickly reveal if the processes I want to apply to an image are working correctly., .What would be the IRAF task that would allow me to create such test images from scratch and to change each pixel value to whatever I want it to be with the least amount of effort?Also - a second question! - is there any documentation available that gives more info. on the imcalc task? (aside from the help file within IRAF).Thanks
