IRAF.net only has the source tarball and not the pre-built binaries for x11iraf-v2.0BETA. This source does not successfully compile. It complains about missing files (needs an X11 subdirectory etc.) I can post a log if desired. The version shown at the beginning of the install script is incorrect as well. This goes back to the 1.5DEV versions too. The 1.5DEV install script also gets confused about what directory it wants. It wanted bin.linux but only bin.redhat exists.JasonUPDATE: The versions of x11iraf-v2.0BETA-src.tar.gz at IRAF.net and iraf.noao.edu appear to differ. The x11iraf-v2.0BETA-bin.redhat.tar.gz (from noao) install script also looked for bin.linux instead of bin.redhat. Merely renaming bin.redhat and lib.redhat worked.

The situation that led to the X11IRAF code not being readily 'available' on iraf.net has changed, I just forgot to mirror the files. The two directories should be the same now, but if the source won't build you'll have to tell me more about the platform and specific problem (unless it's a 64-bit system, in which case I won't even bother).-Mike
