hi. I install iraf and i can use correctly when i logged in iraf user. But the other users can not use iraf what should i do? thanks for your interest.

It depends on the error message the other users get: A 'command not found' may simply mean they don't have the 'local bin directory' you specified when installing the system in their path (this is usually /usr/local/bin). It could also mean that the iraf directory tree is read-protected (the default on some systems) and so other users are prevented from reading the files. The install script should warn you in the latter case, you can fix it by changing the permissions with something like[code:1:2349a6b6de]prompt> cd /iraf
prompt> chown -R o+r,g+r .
[/code:1:2349a6b6de] If the 'iraf' user owns the files do this under the iraf account, doing it as 'root' or with a 'sudo' command should also work.Cheers,
