Dear IRAF HelpDesk,Presently I am using PC Desktop with OS as Fedora Core 5 and working with
IRAF also.With 'g77' I am compiling 'daophot' fortran programme. While running the
'make', it needs some 'IRAF' libraries which seems not to be compitable
with fortran programme. Can you suggest anything. The error comes like:

You need to add a "-lcompat" to the list of IRAF libraries in your Makefile. This refers to 'libcompat.a' that lives in the /iraf/iraf/unix/bin.redhat directory (i.e. next to the libos.a). This will resolve the symbols, if you don't have a libcompat.a then you need a more recent IRAF (or I can send it to you).Cheers,
