 plotting image spectrum

when I plot an image spectrum of 16834 lines it gives back:
error: /usr/lib/iraf/iraf//noad/bin/x_onedspec.e: memory has been corruptedWhat does it mean? What can I do?

Memory corrupted is usually a bug in the task of some kind, but it also sometimes related to bad data (e.g. an invalid dispersion). What task were you using? Was this is response to a particular comman or right as the task started up? Does plotting a subset of the data show reasonable numbers, e.g.[code:1:8b41a898b2]
cl> splot spec[1:5000]
[/code:1:8b41a898b2]to plot the first 5000 points of a 1-D spectrum. Is this even a 1-D spectrum?Cheers,
