HalloJust want to report a bug. I have recently intsalled Iraf V2.12.2a and when I run the cl I get a syntax error.** Syntax error
**: if (!access (".hushiraf"))
^I do not know if this is a known bug or not. I am trying to install the ecl script, but have a few problems concerning it. Thus at this stage I have a running Iraf system with bugs.If someone has any suggestion please help.Cheers

This is a harmless error in the login.cl file and in most cases it flashes past without users even noticing. You can fix it by changing the line to read[code:1:bee483d3ce]
if (access (".hushiraf") == no)
[/code:1:bee483d3ce]The template login.cl file in hlib$login.cl should also be changed, doing a new MKIRAF will recreate your login.cl from the template. This error is unrelated to your other reports. However, note that the ECL must be started with the 'ecl' command explicitly for autocomplete to work. See also the earlier post about the need to modify the install script on line 401 so the 'tail' command has a '-n' flag.-Mike
