Dear Sir/Madam, my name is Anestis Tziamtzis and i'm a PhD student at Stockholm's
Observatory. The reason that i'm mailing you is because i have a problem
with my IRAF instalation. I recently got a laptop with an AMD 64bit
processor. I installed linux on my laptop and i included apart from the
64bit libraries the 32bit libraries as well. I installed IRAF and there
was error message during the process so i thought that everything went
fine. When i tested the program itshelf though i realised that it does
not function correctly. Is there anything that i can do to fix this problem? Or i have to
get 64bit version of IRAF? If the latter is the solution when are you
going to relase this version?
I would like to thank you for your time
RegardsAnestis Tziamtzis.

The Redhat distribution will run on your linux64l laptop. Please let us know in detail what are you doing when you get the error messages.
Please send line by line what your typing and the output.
Thanks,
Nelson Zarate
