iraf.net

i am trying to use xgterm, which i just installed from the
x11iraf-v1.3.1-bin.macosx.tar file. the installation seem to run just
find. but when i try to run xgterm in my X11 window i get this error:dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _tgetent

Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylibdyld: Symbol not found: _tgetent

Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylibi did a file search for the libsystem file and cannot find it anywhere on
my computer. is there still something i need to do? i did not have
problems installing xgterm before i did a reformat on my machine. thanksandre wong

Sorry for the slow reply, many of us were travelling. Try getting
the V1.3.1 binaries from the pkg installer in ftp://iraf.noao.edu/contrib/x11iraf_jaguar.tgzThe error you report implies you're using a binary for an older version
of OS X, the above version should be more compatible. Hope this helps.Regards,
