I have written an iraf script that generates the following output and error
message:7594.926 7528.898 7075.422 2084.561
pid 6004 (cl.e) was killed on an unaligned access, at pc 0x409464
ERROR on line 31: bus error

that if the imhistogram is removed there is no error or if the scan(...)
is removed there is no error. Apparently I can't have both. I guess this
has something to do with the pipe and the Tek window. Maybe the pipe puts the
system into a mode that doesn't allow imhist to plot in the Tek window?
The system is a DECstation 3100 running Ultrix V4.2A (Rev. 47) System #6.
