This is due to a problem in how image header comments are put in the image header affecting only the STF format. Note that the original version released with V2.9 does not provide header comments and so it does not have a problem. The newer version with this STF header problem came as part of V2.9.1. STATUS: This problem has been fixed in the next version of the package. The only workaround is to use OIF (.imh) format and then convert to STF format with IMCOPY.
