Dear Iraf Gurus,
I'm running into a problem in the mscred package. I'm trying to
run the zerocombine task to stack a set of bias frames in MEF format,
and am getting the error message:
ERROR on line 46: parameter 'plfile' not found.
First I tried a complete reinstallation of the mscred package this
morning, but that did not help (same error). I tried unlearning the
full
mscred package - same error. Then I tried rooting through the source
code and found a call to 'coutput' in sflatcombine.cl with this
parameter
in the command line, but coutput (a hidden call to combine) does not
use this parameter anymore. The other place I found plfile was in a
call to mscstack within mscdither.cl. Although I don't see how either
of
these would affect zerocombine (which ultimately calls combine), I tried
editing these two files and recompiling mscred from source, but I still
get
the same error message. I've been through the bug.log and don't
see anything similar. I'm stumped, any ideas?
I'm running on a newer P4 machine, <2 years old, with a standard
RHEL4 and Iraf 2.11.2-EXPORT (not the ecl beta) installation. But I am
fairly new to using the mscred package. Thanks for your help in this
matter.
Best regards, Dave.
