Hola Mauricio;

Make sure that you have imtype=fits before running
ccdred. Type 'show imtype' to see what is the value of
imtype.

- log out of iraf
- log back in
- type 'show imtype'

If it shows 'fits' and you still see .imh for the ccdred
output files, then please do the following to obtain a
parameter output from ccdred.

cl> dpar ccdred > /tmp/ccd.dpar

and send the file /tmp/ccd.dpar to us to look for possible
problems.

Hasta luego,

Hi

I've installed a 2.12.2 PC IRAF over a 2.6 kernel Mandrake 10 Linux.
I've made necesary changes about my reductions produce an .fits archive
(in login.cl I set imdir = "HDR$" and "imtype = fits") but when I reduce
my spectra with ccdred task I obtain .imh and .pix images. I'm entering
to IRAF in the same directory where login.cl file is. What can I do?
