My MacBook Air was recently updated to OS X 10.13.3 and IRAF is working. However, I need a task under STSDAS, but cannot find a version of STSDAS/TABLES to download anywhere. Apparently there is something available connected with python, but I am not using python. Does anyone know how to find a version of STSDAS that can be downloaded to work under OS X 10.13.3?
Thank you.

With a recent IRAF you can install external packages using the commands:
PHP Formatted Code
% cd $iraf/extern
% ./configure
% make stsdas
However, on High Sierra systems the 'ftp' binary used by the IRAF scripts to install is no longer available. So, before doing this edit the file $iraf/util/pkgget and change line 41 to read:
PHP Formatted Code dlcmd = "curl -O"
where it now says 'ftp'
