When executing GEOTRAN after generating the database file from GEOMAP, it does visibly nothing to the input image as seen from the output image. Only when I manually key in the values in the database file, replacing the "INDEF" keywords in the GEOTRAN UI will I only be able to see visible changes. Is this a problem on my distribution of IRAF?

Please send or attach the database produced by GEOMAP, a listing of the parameters being used with GEOTRAN, and what the transformation is supposed to do (correct distortions, translate, rotate, ...). I would want to reproduce what you are doing (using some dummy image).

The number I typed into the working geotran UI is just cipy pasted from the database file. Heres one example of the database file
