Dear Sirs,
I have set up an automatic procedure to reduce the infrared images from the REMIR camera at REM (La SIlla). In this, I would like to use the IGI graphic interpreter but I can’t even start using it. I am using the EXPORT V2.15.1a IRAF version on a Mac (mid 2012). When trying to start IGI from stsdas.tbplot (or tables) but I receive the following error message:
ERROR: segmentation violation
called as: `igi ()'
I thank you in advance for your support.
Fabrizio

The v2.15 series was a first rollout of the 64-bit platform, and while v2.15a addressed some known issues with the 64-bit port the v2.16 release is what we now recommend. With respect to IGI and IRAF v2.15, there may be a problem with the IGI binary (which may be a 32-bit crippled binary depending on how it was installed) talking to the 64-bit CL. The solution in this case is to install 32-bit versions of the CL binaries,, but the recommended solution is to upgrade to v2.16 as the base system where (some) problems with TABLES are addressed.
If you want to just install 32-bit CL binaries you can get them from
