I have a question guys... Does CCMAP have a limitation of pixel scale (as a fitting parameter)? I'm working with images of 0.125 arcsecond/pixel and I have encountered problems with CCMAP and plate solutions.
As a 'safety test', I've tried to construct a WCS of a reference image (image with a good WCS) and that pixel scale [0.125''/pixel] (doing a catalog of stars with information of the image and using the same reference coordinates as appear in the header) using CCMAP with totally way off results.
In the case that effectively exists some problems with pixel scale, do you have any ideas? (I 'can' align reference image with no-WCS images and do some workaround... I guess, but if you have something else, go ahead).
Otherwise, if I'm using pretty bad CCMAP (I have read the manual multiple times but it's probably that I'm doing mistakes), please help! (to, at least, re-construct a WCS of an already-have-WCS image).
[I'm sorry if you see already this question (as a reply in another topic), but in this way I might obtain more help.]
Thanks a lot.
