Hi,

I have a relatively new MAC OSX desktop (with Yosemite 10.10.4 upgrade) and have installed iraf using iraf-macosx.tar.gz. As far as I have been able to tell, the installation was successful. However, I have had trouble getting task fc to compile programs I have been using for many years. These programs use the IMFORT library. I installed gfortran as my fortran compiler. When I try to compile an old program (say prog.f), I get this:

\$this->_split2($m[0])fc prog.f

f77: error: unrecognized command line option ā€˜-f2cā€™

What might be causing this problem? The relevant programs seem to be on my machine (including files related to f2c).

thanks,

Ron Buta
