Hello,
Both sgraph and pltpar indicate "bar" as an option for pltpar.errtype. However, it is not recognized when applying sgraph after typing pltpar.errtype="bar" (either in iraf terminal or in epar mode for pltpar):
tbplot> sgraph
ambiguous abbreviation 'bar'
By deffault, sgraph will then plot errobars in "bartck" mode.
Could the "bar" mode be implemented or alternatively the tick reduced to an almost invisible small size?
Cheers,
Gabriel

The task would have to be fixed by STScI in a future release (you can contact their helpdesk at help@stsci.edu), but you should be able to work around it by removing the options, i.e.
cl\$this->_split2($m[0]) pltpar.errtype.p_min="bar"
cl\$this->_split2($m[0]) pltpar.errtype="bar"
Note that to actually see the error bars you need to also set the 'erraxis' parameter.
