Hi,

I want to make the absolute calibration with IRAF. For this I use the photcal task. I have already done the different catalogues and I use fitparam in interactive mode. But I want to fit the Bouguer's line and I don't know which parameters to choose (I use the graph key "k" after after hitting a "g" to choose parameters). But I don't understand what the key graph "function" means...

Thank you to help me!

Best regards,

Johanna Itam.

Basically you can define new functions for keys h,j,k,l and i.
For example, key l gives by default the graph with residuals on Y axis and fitted function as X axis. After you define key l again by g l and answering BV, residuals to question about graph axis types, you get the graph of residuals vs f BV.

For possible variables to plot on graph, try command :variables in irafterm and look for the output in xgterm.
