So I am trying to combine mosaic bias frames, and I have created a list of the images I need:
\$this->_split2($m[0]) ls iff*_gapmos.fits \$this->_split2($m[0]) biasmos.list

I then ran "imcombine":
\$this->_split2($m[0]) imcombine
List of images to combine: biasmos.list
List of output images: superbiasmos.fits

And I get this error message:
Warning: Cannot open image (biasmos.list)
Warning: Can't make temporary stack images

I don't understand why I get this message, because I have already combined bias frames for individual chip images. However, I tried combining those same bias frames, and I get the same error message! This wasn't happening before (because I was able to create the super biases and subtract them from the original images), so I don't understand why it is happening now. I am working in a computer lab, and I haven't been here for a couple of days, so I'm not sure what happened.

Try using "@biasmos.list" instead of 'biasmos.list", where the '@' says to use the contents of the file as a list of images and not as an image itself.
