Hi,
Can somebody suggest me how to save the output of isoimap or isoexam using a script?
Essentially, I wish to save an image with the ellipse isophotes and bad pixel mask overlayed. Because I am doing it for 100 galaxies, I wish to write a script for this. But, I am not able to find a parameter to save the image.
Thanks in advance.

If you use DS9 for the image display then you might be able to use the 'print' or 'save' XPA access points (see http://ds9.si.edu/ref/xpa.html) by calling 'xpaset' as a host command. Otherwise, the TVMARK task can readback the image display (see the help page examples) to create a new FITS image with the overlays, from there the EXPORT task can convert this to something like a GIF with the grayscale image and colored overlays (see the help page about the 'setcmap()' function and using the 'overlay' colormap).
