Hi, Mike et al---
A collaborator who is running V2.16.1 on her MacBook Pro emailed me with a problem today that seemed unlikely and incredible, but in fact I can reproduce the problem on MY Mac Air also running 2.16.1. Here it is. If I do something like "imstat @a" (where "a" is a file I've created, let's say using "files"), everything works perfectly and as expected. But if I try doing a:
sarith @a - 1.0 z//@a
or
imarith @a - 1.0 z//@a
I get the error message:
sarith @a - 1.0 z//@a
ERROR: Cannot open file (a@a)
It's as if sarith and imarith have somehow lost their ability to open "@" files. I don't know what other tasks are affected. Again, if I use "imstat" with the identical file it works
great:
kpnoslit\$this->_split2($m[0]) imstat @a

Hi Phil,
It appears to be a new bug introduced in the image template code (damn). To fix it, use
cl\$this->_split2($m[0]) reset use_new_imt = no
I'll fix it for the next release.
Cheers,
-Mike
