Hi,
I'm reducing GMOS data. The mask has 25 slits and I have 8 exposures of the mask. When spectra were reduced (gsreduce, gstransform, gsskysub, gsextract, gscalibrate) I realized that the wavelength calibration for the spectrum number 17 was not good. Can please anybody tell me if there is a way to reprocess only this spectrum? Otherwise, I would have to reduce all spectra again Frown
thanks

Hi charly,Unfortunately, the tasks in the Gemini IRAF package do not allow you to selectively reduce specific extensions in the MEF files. I'm afraid you will have to re-reduce your data from the gswavelength step. It is recommended to run the gswavelength task interactively to confirm that the wavelength solution is good for each extension. Many thanks,Emma Smile

Hi Emma,
thanks for your answer. It would be very useful that GMOS package would have such a possibility.
regards,
charly
