There is a new version of my installer of IRAF for the latest Debian family. It has now a unified script for Ubuntu and Debian and 32 and 64 bits. However you must be root to run it (just do a sudo -s first in Ubuntu).STSDAS and TABLES updated to 3.12
PyRAF now is version 1.9 and DS9 is 6.2.
The X11Iraf is the latest 2.0 beta. The new .iso file is in:http://www.astro.uson.mx/favilac/downloads/ubuntu-iraf/iso/IRAF_Ubuntu.isoAn uninstall of the previous version is recomended.
