hey,I want to ask if it is possible to print a diagram of a neon spectrum from IRAF. I need the spectral lines from 3000-5500 Angström. Or if you know where to get a diagram like this. Not in tabulated form. It's for the package "slit", task "identify". I have only a reference spectrum from 5500-7000 Angström.THANK YOU milena

You can get a HeNeAr spectrum cutout FITS file from http://www.noao.edu/kpno/specatlas/henear/henear.htmlIf you have a list of Neon lines and strengths then the MK1DSPEC task in ARTDATA can make an image of those.

Try the IDENTIFY task on your newly created 1D image. You want a 2-D plot, not a 2-D spectrum.
