hey all~i'm using imcombine for a set of arrays... the arrays all have the dimensions 201x201... and i've used the offsets i specify for other sets of images with no problems. but this time, when i'm trying to use them with these arrays of value=1, i get an error message saying:Warning: Cannot open file (offsets_1.txt)
Warning: Can't set output geometrywhere offsets_1.txt is the name of the file with the offsets for imcombine. does anyone know the problem? should i try another routine for adding images together with offsets? does anyone know of any?thanks~ sarah

There is no particular subtlety in this case. The message means exactly that imcombine could not open the file "offsets_1.txt". Double check that indeed you have the name correct in the parameters and the file is in the current directory and is readable. If you can't figure this out you would need to send me an "lpar imcombine" and "dir" output. A "type offsets_1.txt" of the file (or whatever its name is) might help.Yours,
