I have been working with color map images (g-r, u-g, etc., they are from Sloan). I need to build radial profiles in different directions (0, 90 degrees, and so on) from these color map images. I used ellipse tasks, but I have no sure if this is the right way. What is the best task to get that? How could I use it?Thanks a lot,

See the PRADPROF task in the PLOT package, or perhaps the RADPROF task in the DIGIPHOT.APPHOT package. If what you mean instead is that you want a slice through the image at a particular angle, then see the PVECTOR task.Hope this helps.Cheers,
-Mike
