Installing IRAF on Ubuntu 6.10:http://mjhutchinson.com/journal/2006/11/05/install_iraf_on_ubuntu_edgy_amd64Installing IRAF on Ubuntu 7.04:http://astronomy.byu.edu/jake/ubuntu.php?page=irafPretty much the same. I documented the 7.04 one so I can just refer everyone at work that asks me how to install IRAF to it. It's pretty much the same as 6.10. I kept local copies on my site of some .deb files you'll need and updated some of the wget commands to the latest versions (at the time) Other than that, mjhutchinson deserves the credit.
