Hi,
The installation of IRAF using fedora5 seems successful. However certain keys such as backspace or delete keys cannot be used for deleting while running IRAF via xterm windows.How to make them available for deleting task.Thank you.Naz.

What version of IRAF, and specifically which version of the CL (the ECL or the old CL?), are you using? V2.13 from this site uses ECL by default and the BS/DEL problem should be solved, in V2.12 systems the ECL is an add-on and the old CL has the familiar BS/DEL problem.
