I seem to be getting different behavior on what imedit does when it is run interactively or through an input file.
PC-IRAF Revision 2.12.2a-EXPORTWhen I run imedit interactively, locate the cursor where I need it to be, and
type 'e', it puts a circle with the values I specified in imedit.radius and
imedit.value.When I now try to do the same, but using a cursor file
containing:
200 300 e
it puts a circle with radius imedit.radius but with value=0, rather than the 1
that I specified in imedit.value...The input file for imedit is a .pl file, the output file imedit generates is a .fits file. These are the parameters for imedit that I used:xd> lpar imedit

Rob,I haven't verified this (yet), but a cursor input file should be of the form[code:1:44d7d9dc35] <x> <y> <wcs> <keystroke_cmd>[/code:1:44d7d9dc35]Your file is missing the wcs value and may be using the 'e' instead. The wcs number usually doesn't matter but try a file containing e.g. "200 300 0 e" and see if that helps. Frank of course has the definitive answer to this.Cheers,
-Mike
