hello, i'm trying to use disptrans to transform an SDSS spectrum from vaccum to air wavelength but i get onedspec> disptrans sloanstar1 sloanstar1air angstroms air=vac2air
Warning: Image header parameter not found (EXTVER)I read in another forum here that this message can be hiding another error, then i tried adding the keyworkonedspec> hedit sloanstar1.fits EXTVER 1. add=yes
add sloanstar1.fits,EXTVER = 1.
update sloanstar1.fits ? (yes):
sloanstar1.fits updatedBut i keep getting the EXTVER not found message. any idea how can i get to the source of the problem? i'm putting below the image header.thx a lot

hello there,i've actually found it. the sloan spectrum is not 1D, so i had to apply the task asdisptrans sloanstar1[0][*,1] sloanstar1air angstroms air=vac2airpaula
