 dispcor task failed

An error messege appeared when I run the dispcor task :Error: parameter 'blank' not found
dispcor ( )Why is that happened?How to fix this?Thank you on your concern.Naz

'Parameter not found' messages are usually fixed with an UNLEARN of
the task to reset the parameters. Params are sometimes added/deleted
between releases, but you uparm$ directory keeps track of the old settings
until you unlearn them or reinitialize with a MKIRAF. More obscure reasons
for the error have to do with installation errors, write back if the above
doesn't fix it first.-Mike

I have unlearn the task, but the problem still appear.How to add the 'blank' parameter in the dispcor task? From the help document on dispcor task,it was stated that the blank parameter is added in Dispcor version 2.12.3.Where and how can I get this version?Many thanks in advanced for your help.Naz

Then it may mean that you upgraded the binaries but not the sources,
check whether iraf$noao/onedspec/dispcor.par does actually have a
'blank' param. If not, but the binaries date from ~Jul04 then this is
what happened and you'll need to patch the source.Note that V2.12.3 hasn't happened yet, the Revisions note probably
meant V2.12.2a (which we didn't know we would have at the time).-Mike
