When I installed xgterm from the Mac IRAF site, I noticed that I couldn't type in the terminal unless my mouse cursor was in the terminal as well. Is there a way to change this behavior?

I agree the behavior is different than XTerm and I'll add it to the list of things to do, but try Ctrl-MB1 (left mouse button) to
select "Secure Keyboard". At least for me, I can move the mouse outside the window and not lose focus, athough it
did have the funny side effect of turning on reverse video (disable using Ctrl-MB3 menu). Maybe somebody has a better answer, hope this helps.-Mike
