Thanks for your note about the USNO lookup. I came up with a work-around, so I'm happy.
I did come across a curious dohydra thing today, and after trying it various ways, I convinced myself
it was a bug. The problem came when the first fiber in the reference field had a number of "3" rather
than (as usual with the blue cable) "2". It worked fine with a single comparison arc, but if there were
two comparison arcs listed, it did something very bizarre on the extraction of the 2nd arc.
If you're interested and have time, I can ship you the files and the exact parameters I used. Otherwise,
I dealt with it by just specifying a single arc.
