BUG:	If the input data does not begin with the minimum x value (when
there are two or three columns) then a memory corruption error may
occur. Even if it does not occur, the theta statistic will come
out wrong and so all results will be invalid. The workaround is to
make sure the first data point of the input file(s) is the minimum
value. One could also sort the files, though if multiple files are
being merged they should be merged externally into one sorted file
or else insure the first input file has the proper minimum.

STATUS:	A fix was made to fix the immediate problem. It is not clear
whether there are other possible problems due to lack of a
	sorted input.
