NUMBER: 316 MODULE: images.imcombine, ccdred.combine, onedspec.scombine SYSTEM: V2.10 - V2.4 DATE: Thu Oct 19 12:24:43 MST 1995 FROM: valdes BUG: In the PCLIP rejection option, if more than the maximum number of pixels that are allowed to be rejected (set by the nkeep parameter) are rejected at some point along the output line then for all subsequent pixels in that line the rejection threshold will be much higher. Thus there may be pixels that should be rejected but will not be. The workaround is to set nkeep to zero. Note that since the sigma is estimated based on the difference between the median and some percentile pixel you are guarenteed never to reject all the pixels. STATUS: Fixed in later versions.
